CHEESECAKE POP FLOP.

October 30, 2010

Tomorrow is my graduation party–and I couldn’t be more excited! So I am spending a work free Saturday night cooking cleaning and all that fun stuff…

A few weeks ago I came across a photo:

via The Best of DIY

mmmm right? Ya, they look easy, sound easy, but aren’t easy. Greattt…basically here is what you do:

1. Freeze a big tub of cheesecake

2. Scoop it out into little balls using an ice cream scooper

3. Melt some yummy chocolate or other fun stuff & dip them into it

4. Then sprinkle it up, and BAM! Cheesecake pops.  Or, as I have re-named them, cheesecake pop FLOPS. Holy moleyyyyy, not only did the cheesecake thaw freakishly quickly, the chocolate burned in the pan (note to self, don’t add milk to melting chocolate), and then the chocolate slipped off due to that thing called gravity and melting deelish milk balls paired with hot hot hot chocolate.

Crapola.

O well, better luck next time? Ooo the poor poor soul who marries me will be eating fried chicken (yay! Something I can cook well!) and tuna fish the rest of his poor life.
